上半期の相場推移
上半期が終了しました。昨年１０月からの単価安が、この上半期まで続きました。単価は、前年比で見ると、キク類で９０％、球根類９０％、バラ・カーネーション・洋ラン９９％、草物９５％、鉢物類１００％、葉物・枝物で１０４％となりました。特に、需要期に間に合って出荷できなかったことや、異常気象で不要な時期に多く出荷してしまったことにより、総取扱金額が大きいキクと球根類が安かったことが主たる原因でした。
大田花きの一口当たりの平均単価を見てみると、４月・５月と過去３年間で最低であったものが、６月以降には、９９年度より良い時と悪い時が交互に出て、一進一退の様相でした。都心部や住宅街、とくに中央線、及び京王、小田急、東急線沿線では、昨年よりも良くなっているものの、それ以外の地域では相変わらず消費不振が続いているようです。物日の後に前年より相場が良かった時と、８月の様に極端に悪かった時とがあり、「作るに天候、売るに天候」という花き業界の商売の難しさを痛感させた半年でもありました。
下期は彼岸後、一気に涼しくなって、荷は少ない状態が続いていますが、作柄が思わしくないので、業界は会社によって差があり、減収・減益のところと、ようやく前年を上回っていくところなど、まだまだ斑模様な状況が展開されるものと思われます。
日本フローラルマーケティング協会の重要な活動の一つである花持ち保証について、どこが実際に取り組み出すか話題となっていますが、本年度は充分に品目や品種、産地を吟味する必要があるでしょう。生産者の皆様方は、出来てしまったものは仕方ないわけですから、作柄が悪い中でも、充分な厳選をお願い致します。
The Market Change In The First Half The first half of the this year has passed. Low prices had continued until this first term since last October. The unit price has gone down to 90% in chrysanthemum, 90% in bulbs, 99% in roses, carnations & orchids, 100% in potted plants, 104% in leaves and 95% in the rest of flowers. The main reason is that the prices of chrysanthemums and bulbs are extremely low which have a great amount of treatment because of failing to forward goods in time for the demands and of forwarding too much due to unpredictable weather.
The average of the unit price of Ota Floriculture went up and down which looked hanging in the balance in June while it was the worst in April and May during the last three years. What is more, we could find the consumption was improved in the inner city and residential areas such as along the Chuo-line, Keio-line, Odakyu-line and Tokyu-line whereas depressed consumption is still remained in the others areas. The market price after event days was higher than that of the last year. On the other hand, it was terribly low in August. Thus, this first half told us that floriculture service was not easy because it totally depends on weather, which we can't control.
The latter half of the year has already started. It suddenly got cooler after Higan days and the quality does not live up to our expectation. There are some differences of profit between companies. Profit of some companies is still decreasing and some have improved their situation. It seems that this situation will continue for a while.
It is topical which grower will take an actual act on a guarantee a long life of cut flowers. It is necessary to inquire into a kind and growing area. I would also like to ask the growers to select even among rather low quality flowers.
